Back From “Playing Marine”
April 18th, 2009 by adminBack from “playing Marine” for four days, also known as the U.S. Marine Corps Educators Workshop.
It was interesting being yelled at to “GET ON/OFF THE BUS!” and walking in formation for four days…everywhere we went.
And believe me, we were only playing, because the recruits at Parris Island do nothing other than what they’re told for 12 weeks.
Lots of great stories and videos coming, including “Marines and Teachers Behaving Badly.” Yes, Marines know how to play as well.
It’s great to be home!
Your Pal,
Larry

P.S. Honor. Courage. Commitment. That’s the Marine code. Whatever personal or financial challenge you may have now, I promise you the solution is in that same code.

What a great experience - playing with the marines! I had the wonderful experience of hanging out with the marines at Parris Island and attend a graduation. Truly incredible experience!
